Inner Struggle

Greetings,

I have multiple questions as a student transferring from a sports management major at a 4-year university to a nursing degree from a two-year community college.

Do you male nurses feel that there is much satisfaction and respect in the profession you chose?

Is there an easy path to becoming something more than a RN such as PA or NP?

Is the nursing profession in as much need as the media suggests (i.e. work anywhere, anytime, making a good amount of money)?

Anybody who would care to answers these questions I am having would help the inner struggle I am having on deciding whether to transfer and leave behind my journey towards a bachelor degree in a sports science or complete the two-year program on my way to becoming sucessful in the medical field.

Thank you,

jayhawkny

As amale Rn if satisfied being a nurse, Respect comes as you gain your confidence with what you do. I stated as an LPN now ADN planning on doing RN-BSN the prob PA. The RN prof is good for along while so I will encourage u to ride these train till its destiny. Then hopefylly you can be upgrading yr self to something else in health care like PA or NP or even PHD.
