    Do not know what the deal is in your state. Worth a call to the entity that certifies CNAs. Why would you surrender your LPN license after working so hard for it?

    The cost of Impaired nursing program is about the same as cost to become re educated in a new field. Been at this 10 years. I'm tired. CNA would allow me more then minimum wage while I educate myself.

    Keep in mind as you look for another field that the situation with your nursing license will follow you, perhaps to your detriment. I've seen many job applications that ask about the status of any professional licenses.
