In need of study pointers for GI/Musculo exam

I am in my senior med-surgical course and it has NOT been easy. We have a GI/Musculoskeletal exam in about 11 days. So far a majority of the class is riding on the fence as to the passing failure mark. Our instructors are making up their own test questions much to the dismay of us students. I do not know what works anymore. You would think that you have it covered by reading the required text, referencing other text for clarifications, doing all the NCLEX review questions from Saunders, Reviews and Rationales, Evolve websites, ATI practices, Medspub, case study practices from other references, etc. The frustrating thing is to get to the test and it is obvious that you do not have a strong enough grasp of the concepts. Some of my classmates say, "It is not us students, it is the instructors".

So,if anyone has tips on what to look for, stress in our studies, etc. please advise. The irony to this whole study and test thing is that when we do these review questions (NCLEX REVIEWS) we do fine. I am wondering if these reviews steer us away from what is really important. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. study groups with same time of learners (hearing, visional, the doers)

has it's plus and minus's in my opinion.
