Where in the heck do you go if you don't have insurance or a regular doctor?
I just called the Health Department's Vaccination Office and the only vaccine they offer is MMR. I am a little shocked that an office created for immunizations only offers ONE??!! I don't have a regular physician, haven't had one or seen one in years because I don't have insurance.
Wow, going to call my local family health clinic and see which ones they offer...

Someone posted around here that the CVS minute clincic staff NP's who can give you many of the shots you need for less $ than a doctor's office visit.

I got my at the health center of a local community college. They were cheap and I didn't have to pay for a visit since I was a student
Thanks for this info. but I looked at the site and there are no minute clinics in my state/area. I did check with the med office at the school (ran by an NP) but it's pretty expensive!!!
I called and made an appointment at the local clinic though, and they offer sliding fee scale....
What do ya know you can't use the sliding fee scale for Hep B shots ($90 each) and they don't offer Meningitis ($90 at school)
