Immigrating to US with spouse

Hi everyone,

I am Canadian nurse currently planning on relocating to the US but had a question regarding employment for my husband. From what I read, TN visa dependents cannot work. So does that mean he would not be allowed to work at all? I can't imagine so many nurses are relocating to the US and their husbands are left to stay at home.

Any help would be great!

    Correct he can not work unless he gets his own work visa.

    One of the travel nurses who I met on my unit just mostly worked in border states and saw her husband when she was off.
