Im going crazy waiting

I am on the alternate list for Lamar University. They told me that I would hear something by the end of the last week I called starting Wed. and everyday since (no I didn't give my name and I called differant people within the nursing dept.) They can't get their stories straight, one person say they have made their decission but the have not sent out letters yet and that was Friday. I called today and they said they were working on the letter and I asked if she would just tell me and of course she couln't. I called the advisor and she told me that they are not done working on the decissions and they won't be mailing the letters until the end of this week, and she said there were schedule changes, which also worries me. So I wish they would just let me know I am going out of my mind and I am driving my husband nuts. Also when I went online I seen that people were filling classes already, how could they do that when they said they have not sent out letter yet. So I went to registar for the nursing classes hoping that it would be a clue and it let me, but I don't know if that means anything or not. Sorry Im just going crazy:banghead:

I know how you feel! I'm first alternate at my college and there is no "deadline" to find out if you're starting or not. They just call you when and IF you get a spot! I'm going CRAZY waiting to hear from them!!! :banghead: Hopefully we both get some peace soon... Good luck I hope you make it!!! :D

I think we're all in the same boat! I'm #1 on the waitlist at my college and they have until the fall semester starts (Aug 31st) to let me know if I get in. I'll only get in if someone who has already accepted a spot decides to drop out so I'm waiting around like a mad-woman.

I don't know how far down on the list I am, my school said it's classified (whatever). There are only 16 spots as of now. I was informed they registar you, so the classes I registared for was removed and I have to wait for them to registar me and pick my schedule. Which I don't like that because I have a child and a husband in school as well and our schedule is not as flexible as a single student, but we be go with the flow I don't care as long as I get a spot.

Yayyy I'm so excited for you. Keep your fingers crossed for me--I still have 16 more days of waiting.
