DMG12- I am in the same boat as you. I am taking the test next week and I am freaking out also. I haven't done QT 7 yet, but only hit what Kaplan wants on QTs 1 and 2 (63% on both). Other than that I have been in the high 50s.

I feel the same way as you, but I think this- we are psyching ourselves out. I have heard that NCLEX questions are easier than Kaplan questions. Whether that is true or not, I don't know. But I do know this: we worked hard to get where we are and the test is an obstacle on our paths to nursing greatness. Even through we don't realize it, it is stuff we already know and have learned over years in nursing school, on the clinical floor, externing, whatever.

I believe we need to face it and not cancel. I had the same thoughts as you and was thinking I should cancel, but we have to go into it positively. Keep doing questions and reading rationales and who knows? Maybe NCLEX won't be as bad as we think. Keep me posted. I wish you the best of luck, future RN!

Take a deep breath and relax. I took the NCLEX-RN July 2 and passed first time. I also studied saunders and never made higher than 60% on exams. Just answer questions and understand the answers.

Good Luck!!:nurse:

In your last week, just focus on practice questions especially prioritization... it is very important... then have some SATAs to practice... try to get 70% to 80%... i did that and i passed... good luck... God bless...

if u feel u are not ready then u are not , feel free to reschedule and fight another day .i was supposed to take my rn exam last june . i resched august and passed . reflect on it . it may be best to retreat and have more time . it is all in your hands . nobody can decide but you alone . I pray for you

being nervous is normal..but freaking out..hmmm...try not to freak out or you might forget everything you have studied this past few months. try to relax and somehow take your mind off the whole nclex craze..

get some good sleep..if your nclex is next week as you have mentioned in your post, now is NOT the right time to "freak out". it's just a week from now..relax..

i wish you luck..keep us posted.
