Well, it's been quite a while since I have been on this board. I had gotten accepted into the LPN school last fall at our technical school and due to a lot of health problems at the time, I turned down the spot.
Well, I had weight loss surgery 9/24/07 and have lost 67 pounds todate and am feeling great!!!!!!
I am reapplying for the fall 2008 LPN program (have to have everything in by March 1 or the 15th, can't remember now, will have to check again.
I have continued to take classes that will count towards the Associate RN program though (just in case I decide to go that route).
If I get accepted again, I will turn 56 in the first semester of the LPN program. I checked into a private school and had gotten accepted to start this month for the LPN program, however, I did not want to really spend $19,000 for the LPN program, attend M-F 8:00 to 5:00 and drive almost 30 miles one way.
I am glad to be back and hugs to all!!
