Illinois nurses please help!

Um hi! I need some serious help from some nurses. I was charged with stealing narcotics from work.Long story. My license has never been suspended and even renewed. Did I slip through the crack? This charge is a class 4 felony. I know so far I will have 2 years probation. They changed the charge to possession of a narcotic and its not a felony(pretty sure). Is anyone going to hire me? Do I just be honest and explain the whole story? I was diagnosed recently as manic depressive and was manic when it happened. I did a lot of other stupid things while manic, but didn't know how terribly sick I was. Im now on meds and seeing psych. I love being a nurse, but I was very sick and made some horrible decisions and understand now. Please help!

    I would suggest a lawyer for yourself that specializes in nursing licensing.

    I hope you don't believe that you are going to get around any consequences from this situation.
