Hi, to all
I'm writing this because I was asked to interview anyone in the medical field. So if any of you are willing to answer my questions I will type them out below and you can send back the answers at my e-mail address: [email protected]
1. Describe a situation in which you demonstrated professionalism in the work setting.
2. Do you belong to any professional organizations? If so, which ones, and how do they help you in your work setting/occupation?
3. Describe two examples or situations as to how safety is maintained in your work setting.
4. Describe two examples or situations as to how infection control is maintained in your work setting.
5. does your institution or employer offer any wellness programs? If so, please describe. If not, what would you like to see offered (if any)?
Thank you to anyone and all who take the time out to reply to my questions. :)

Standard answer, since this gets asked at least a couple times/week, is that the purpose of these assignments is for you to go out (perhaps breaking your comfort zone, perhaps not--I don't care...) and speak with a nurse face-to-face, NOT to post a list of questions on the internet where any schmuck with non-verifiable credentials can answer. Folks on here will generally help if you can show you've put some effort out but we're not going to do your homework for you.

Welcome!
OP....we are happy to help but the purpose of these assignments is to get the student out of their comfort zone. The interview is an essential skill that a nurse needs to possess. Every day we interview complete strangers and ask them the most personal questions in an effort to take the best care possible during their hospital stay. The interview is an important skill that must be learned like any other nursing skill. I believe it is the MOST important skill for obtaining information about our patients establishing trust and sifting through the information and non verbal clues is the best way to care for our patients. This takes practice and that practice cannot be in the internet.
Many of us here are educators an KNOW that the intention of this assignment is to get the student out of their comfort zone. You have had this assignment since August 18th for this assignment. You will get out of nursing only what you put into it.
You can go to your local high school, health department, elder services, flu clinic, CVS minute clinic, Red Cross blood drive or call to see them and set up a time....these all have nurses present so with a little leg work you should be able to find a willing person to interview face to face.
I know that you may be used to social media but it is important that you remember your safety. Allnurses is an anonymous site but it is viewed by the public. You should consider not placing personal information out there for the general public and spam bots to gain access to your private information.
I study through The university of nebraska high school online program and i live in a country where people speak french, I thought that the next best thing would be to ask online since i can't go out and ask around here. I'm not asking anyone to do my homework but to rather let me have an interview.

What does your school or language have to do with it? What the PP are saying is that the purpose of this assignment is to get you to talk, in person, with a nurse. Not to just have a stranger fill out the form online. And honestly if someone did answer the questions posted that would be doing your homework for you. I can't believe that there is not one single nurse in your town that you could interview.
Are you in high school?
