I have a few questions about IELTS. I'm a Filipino citizen currently living here legally in Italy for few months. I applied for a nursing / theater job using a website and few days later I received a call from an agency, just to make the story short they found an employer to set-up an interview with me and few days after, I had an interview with Following the hospital managers and the recruitment agency Told me the day I got the job out of 5 of us who had the interview. The hospital is willing to sponsor me and help me to accomodate. The agency Told me I have to take IELTS and to NMC register asap so they can move forward for my paper works. My question is what if I failed the IELTS, am I losing my chance to be sponsored again by That employer? I actually have two aside for BS Nursing degree I also have an Associate Degree of Surgical Technologist and i took it and graduated United States and work there for few years. Registering NMC is in so much pain in the neck. Is there any other option so I can attain togo to the UK in order for me to easily work there as a nurse and register to NMC maybe? And also my problem is nearest to the center That have up to april dates are too far from my place and I am so worry about the travel time, me and mt wife are only living here and we do not even have tons of friends who can help me out for the travel in order for me to be on time.on the test dates. I actually only need 10 blackberries points 70 points for the requirements of the immigration based on my research .. I am so desperate and stressing right now, I do not wanna lose or miss this opportunity. Any help / advice will be appreciated. Kind Regards Mark

NMC process is not quick and we have members posting here that have been waiting several months to get to packet 2. IELTS is required as part of the process and application will not move forward without it. Also there is no way you can work as a nurse in the UK without meeting UK NMC requirements first.
Moved to the Nurse Registration forum as not many UK nurses understand the process a IEN has to go through
thank you for reply silver dragon I appreciate your time reading my post. godbless
