I already know that 3 of my questions plus the Sata which I believe I didn't get any right.. thanks though for trying to cheer me up

As stated above, there are people that got the CC page and have passed. When you're doing the PVT, the status of your exam should say "delivery successful" or something like that to indicate that the exam results have been sent to Pearson Vue. Here's the thing to know about the PVT. It's not 100% correct on either side of the results. It's possible to get the good popup and fail. Likewise you can get the CC page (bad popup) and still pass. False positive bad popups happen more often than they do for the good popup. So if you get a bad popup, the best thing you can do is wait for the official exam results. If you get the good popup, well, you can do a little celebrating because the odds are much, much higher that you actually passed, but still wait for official results (like seeing your license numbers...) before you really throw a party.

If you have, in fact, failed, they'll send you a breakdown of the areas you need to work on. They won't send you a review of questions you missed because that destroys the integrity of the test and it's immaterial anyway because the next exam you'll take is going to be different than the one you just took. The exams do have to cover certain types of material, so you'll see questions from all those areas that you passed and failed. Review the material you did well on and then concentrate on the areas you were weakest at. Once you feel ready, go for it again! Hopefully you'll pass at 75 next time!

Thanks Akulahawk After taking a nap I really do think I didn't pass I have about 4 or 5 questions knowing that I didn't get right plus the SATA which was really a pain in my butt but thanks alot hopefully I do succeed and if not then I have about 3 years to pass the exam

Hi jtun3d, i suggest you wait until you can view your quick results before assuming anything. Lots of people including myself, felt like they failed, and some even received the "bad pop up" and still ended up passing. If you do unfortunately fail, learn what you need to work on and retake asap!! I know its unbearable to even think about that, but you need to get back in so you can put this all behind you as quickly as possible and become the RN you know you can be!

P.S. I highly doubt it will take you 3 years to pass this exam! You can do it!

I already want to get ahead of myself so that if ever I did fail I can get to the studying already. I want to state that I felt that I had such a hard time with the SATA and I guess it was more on memorization too because I understand concepts maybe not all but most concepts its just the memorization part. I don't feel like going through another sit-in class because I have done the same review about 6 times the 3 other times was for the Philippines Nursing licensure exam so I know pretty much the ins and outs of that review center. Should I go with Kaplan or Hurst? or should I just go on my own and buy questionaires and go on with a book?

I used both Hurst and Kaplan. However the test taking strategies were not as helpful as the qtrainers from the Kaplan. The Hurst was great for mastering the content. Aunt Marlene helps you focus on the content the "NCLEX lady" favors;)

Well did you pass?.....if you don't know yet go to your state licensure board web page. They will have a search function where you can search for the names of any nurse in that state and their licensure status to see if they are licensed. Just run your name, and if they have issued you a license then you passed the test. :)

Well, since 75 questions is the minimum number, stopping there meant one of two things: either you were doing so well that there was no point in giving you more, you were consistently testing at or above the passing standard.

OR:

You were doing so poorly that the computer "realized" that no matter how many questions it threw at you, there was no way you were going to pass.

Which, based on your practice scores/ home testing and studying, seems more likely?

I went through the same experience with the opening post, stopped at 75 with more than just an hour while the test questions went from hard to not-so-hard. although my confidence was there all throughout the exam, I thought I failed.. too many SATA Qs. I passed it though.

for those who will take it, do as many practice tests as you can, from whatever resource you can get your hands on.
