I need some advice please

Here's my problem...I graduated from practical nursing school in 2010. Right out of school I got a job working for a chiropractor. I did things such as take vital signs, patient intakes, keep EHR updated and order supplies. After a year I quit that job and started taking pre-nursing classes to start the journey to get my RN. After a year and a half due to finacial reasons I had to stop taking classes for awhile. Also my sister had a baby so being the loving push over that I am I agreed to help babysit for little to no money. About a year ago the chiropractors office called and I went back to work there doing the same thing as before. Now I'm at the point where I'm thinking about mine and my husband's future. I want to get an actual nursing job and try to continue school. The problem is I have applied to several nursing jobs (at least 15-20) and I've either not got interviews or was told I didn't have enough experience. This is very discouraging and I don't know what I can do to fix this problem?

What type of facilities are you applying to? Where are you searching for job? What city?
