I am loving this...

I just completed my first week working as a corrections nurse, and I love it. I have used more skills this week then I have in the past 3 years. This is what I have been missing.

Just 1 quick question....What shoes are the best? Those hard floors are killing my legs and feet.

Thanks

Sandy

I'm not a corrections nurse, but I would check out zcoil.com. I've heard great things from a lot of nurses and can't wait to get a pair myself!

I love my Crocs!

Oh, and welcome to the wonderful (and weird and wacky!) world of corrections!

The floors killed me too... especially with so much walking.

Expen$ive but worth it: MBT's

More roll, more cushion. First few days makes the new muscles ache. Then I was way better.

MBT's are good shoes. I agree they make your legs/butt/feet hurt the first few days but it's a good hurt like after a really good workout hurt. Expensive, but worth it.

hi,

just my:twocents:, i also work a private prison in louisiana, and i swear by zcooils. my pill call can last anywhere from an hour to three hours depending on the security and counts. Z coils are by no means cheap, but $200.00 dollars is a whole hell of alot cheaper then back and knee surgery:smokin:
