Hi everyone. I am currently in the process of becoming registered in the USA and let me tell you, it has been a really long road! I am a US citizen but studied and got my degree in Australia so the only thing I didn't have to worry about was immigration (I went through all of that in Australia years ago). I applied to the GA BON and CGFNS for a CES report back in January. Luckily I kept in touch with the lady at my school doing all of the paperwork (which I highly recommend) so when CGFNS sent papers for clarification I was able to let her know that were coming which sped things up a little. I received my CES report in mid June. It took the board a month to review it, so now here it is the end of July and I finally have my ATT which only took a week to receive. I honestly don't know how non-US citizens do this everyday and I admire you all for it. I know we all do what we have to but it has been a really long road. I just wish I had known that it was going to take so long!

Thanks for this, yes it is a long process especially with retrogression (you won't be affected but most other foreign nurses are) with currently looking at a few years waiting
