should I apply for lpn program?

Hi Allnurses,

I am waiting for lottery draw for TCC RN program and I will find out early-mid August if I'm accepted. In the meantime I am checking out a LPN program, I will submit my official transcripts June 20th and if accepted I will need to pay $100 to be placed on waiting list. Do you think I should pay $100 to be put on waiting list prior to finding out about TCC RN program? or should I wait until after I am notified if I am accepted. So far I've been declined by one RN program and I am back in their lottery pool for Winter and Spring.

I don't know if it is wise to apply to this LPN program or not??? Any advice is welcome. Thank you in advance.
