Into a FNP in my area. I'm SO excited and elated by this. It wasn't all that hard to get in -- they just required a good gpa and an interview, transcripts, etc. I had to submit one reference. It didn't take long. I'm starting in January.
It means a lot to me, though. I struggled SO much through nursing school and these last two years in nursing. I just feel like I've literally climbed a mountain, only to be setting out to climb another. But I'm just so thrilled.
So much was stacked against me -- SO much. All these many, many years. But with a supportive husband and just putting one foot in front of the other everyday, somehow it all panned out.
I WILL say -- don't burn your bridges. Be nice to people. Someday you need to go back to people to get references, letters, recommendations. You need to protect your reputation always.
Hallelulah -- a new start and I'm going back to school!!! Yay!! (I love being a student:loveya: )
