hystosalpingogram

Hi, I am a new nurse living in Australia and have only had a short stint in maternity. I have been told I need to have a hystosalpingogram and am just wondering, how much pain am I going to be in? It's just to check that my tubes are still closed. I had clamps put in nine years ago and had to have a pelvic x-ray today, because of hip pain, only find not only arthritis but that I now have both clamps on the left side of my abdo. I'm 36 so I am a little concerned about the implications although if I hadn't been in so much pain I would never have found out about it. I know I'm such a wuss but I'm very worried about it.

So tell me friends, am I going to be writhing around in pain or will I cope with it all?
