I want to take human development but my school requires intro to psychology before taking human development. I'm wondering if this is the case at most schools or if it would be worth it or even possible to find an online school where intro is not required?

In my school, intro to psychology is not required for human development however intro to psychology is required for the nursing program. I think most schools have both as requirements.

At my school intro to Psyc is a prerequisite for human development, along with being one of the general ed core classes that need to be completed. I have a feeling you are going to find this to be true for most programs. There are things that you will see in intro to Psyc that will come back up in Human Development which in my class it was expected that you knew.

However, they are both required for the Nursing program anyways. I'm sure you could find another school where you can take them both at once- just make sure your credits transfer! However, I doubt there are many schools who don't require both of these classes :)
