How will withdrawing from a class look on my transcript?

I just took anatomy I and got a D so i know i will be taking it again. I am in anatomy II right now (because my teacher allowed me to take it), but it is so hard. i think i'm struggling because of my bad grade in the first one. If i withdraw from this class and retake them both will the "W" affect my chances at getting into nursing school at all?

I don't think a W will really impact you. If it does, I know I'd be screwed! Lol. That would be something to talk to your advisor about.

Good day:

It probably depends on the school. At the community college I'm attending, you gain more points for not having a "W" in certain classes (mainly the sciences). The penalty is the loss of those points.

Thank you.
