I currently have 2 more pre-reqs to fulfill before actually applying into the nursing program at VCC in Orlando, FL and I was wondering how hard it is to get accepted into the program?? and also, how intense is the program itself?? I little bit of my story... I have a 4 year old, my husband is active duty for the navy and he will be stationed in Virginia and we will be separated for the duration of the program which means I will have to find a job to help pay the expenses that will arise for living separated. (I looked into some RN programs in Virginia and I would have to take 5 additional pre-reqs (classes) just to be able to apply for the Nursing program, so I'm really trying to avoid going that route, I really want to get done with school sooner than later) My only support system in FL will be my mom, So I'm concern about; money, job, intensity of the program and ultimately whether if I would get accepted or not. Any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
