How many students from other programs?

I will be starting a surgical tech program this fall. It has a bit to do with how difficult it is to get accepted to the schools around here (last semester the lowest gpa was 3.9), a lot to do with the fact that I am 37 years old and don't want to keep going to school forever before being able to work, and also a lot to do with the fact that I am interested in surgery. I have already been accepted into the program and will continue my education to become a first assistant once I have gotten enough work experience to qualify. I was wondering, however, how many of you also are going through programs other than those for RN. That would include everything else like rad. tech, psych. tech, dental hygenist, or anything else that I can't think of right now that is also a health care field. Thanks in advance for sharing.

Hi there, I am a Rad Tech student that will officially begin my program this Fall. So why am I here, my strongest supporter is a future nurse and he told me about this website. Although I will not be in a nursing program, I like the general information I get from this site regarding the pre-reqs, working shifts, etc.

I wish you the best in your program.

yay! another rad tech student! I am applying for admission to a rad tech program for this fall. Should find out next week if I get an interview :uhoh21:

I post here for the same reasons, MSURT. Plus most of the radiography boards are pretty slow. Good to have another RT stuent posting!
