How many hours on average do you study pathophysiology?

Hi I am taking Patho this semester and was wondering how many hours on average did you study a day for this class or recommend that I study for this class. Also does anyone have any tips? If you have taken this class what was your grade?

Hi there. I took Patho I over the summer term and I found it to be incredibly easy. However, I can't speak for all Patho classes. My teacher wanted us to grasp the main points and not the nit-picky Snapple facts.

I studied probably 4 hours a week, at most. Our tests were very, very fair. The extra credit was also very generous. I finished the class with a 103, which at my university is an A+. I drew a lot of concept maps. I found that it helped a lot with chapters like fluid and electrolyes; they were also really useful for the immunity unit. What worked for me might not work for you. You might need to study more or less, depending on your learning style and your study habits.

Good luck!

Mine was online and it was challenging. You really had to pay attention to the small details, the papers were easy and the quizes were ok but the tests were pretty hard (worth a total of 50% of your grade) because of the fact that it was open book. I did not study like I should have but I still got a B+ which was better than over half my class.

I found some online quizes and flash cards people had made befor on quizlet and on the textbooks website they helped with at least the multiple choice portions of the test, but not the fill in the blank or the essays :p
