How long to wait after reference check

Greetings! I applied for a job in Ca and had a panel phone interview.The next day i received email that I need to complete the reference check. Its been a week since my reference was completed but havent heard from them yet. Im so confused coz now i dont know if i will renew my lease contract to my apartment. Thank you😀

    They called one of my reference person Just before the Thanksgiving day. But all of my reference person completed the online survey. I am not sure if how long Is the hiring process. One colleague told me that if they got my reference persons there is a high possibility I am on the top list but I dont know coz its been a week.

    You could always contact the HR recruiter or manager and reiterate how much you enjoyed meeting them and ask if they have a possible time frame for when a decision might be made.
