How long does it take?

my fellow students & i have been unable to get an answer from our instructors to our question on how long after we send in our nclex paperwork do we take the test. i knew y'all would be the experts to ask. if y'all could just give us a ballpark answer we would greatly appreciate it.

thank you!

I graduated on the 12th and received my ATT by email on the 22nd. It seems the test can be scheduled at convenience, as long as it is within a year.

I mailed my paperwork in before graduation (12-12) and got my receipt of NCLEX registration, not the ATT. I got my grades on 12-21, and they have to get our transcripts before we get the ATT, so I'm looking for mine next week. (Hopefully)

I think my school is slow and state is slow. With that being said, I graduated May 31st, sent in my $200 fee beforehand, and sent in my state application June 2nd. My transcript did not get mailed to the BON until June 23rd b/c they had to wait for the degree to show up on it. I called the BON on July 1st to see what was taking so long. 2 days later by email I received my ATT. I took my exam on July 10th (the same day my ATT arrived by mail). Needless to say that was like 5 weeks. I ended up failing and the second time I sent my stuff in I received my ATT by email within a month (and passed on October 16th :D )

Good luck on NCLEX!

Christine
