How long does immigrant visa processin' take if single??

Hello folks,question?How Long it will take to process the immigrant visa if single?the step by step process of the visa processing?I had completed all the exams and the visa screen,and have a job offer already which i signed last january, 2006...and now they told me that I wait for the ETA form...Hope you could help me on this thanks:(

Takes the same time if you are married or single. Depends on which center is processing your papers, and this is related directly where your employer is. Time will vary between center.

If you just filed in the past few weeks, you will need to get I-140 approval as the first step. And if you are waiting for any other documents that need to be added to file, they need to be submitted before anything will be processed.

Take a look at some of the other posts here to get some idea of your time frame, each can be different. Also depends on when your employer pays the fees, if they are the ones that are paying. There are so many factors that get thrown into the quotient.
