How long should I reach out after interview for f/u?

So I had an interview last week in Pre-Op services and felt the interview went very well. When I left the nurse manager told me to go home discuss with my family and to email here what I thought about the position and when she should reach out to my current manager. I emailed the interviewing manager the next afternoon and I told her that after doing some thinking I felt the position would work well for me and I had spoke with my current manager about applying to other jobs and thanked her for her time. She responded immediately asking again what hours would work best, 3 12s or 4 10s, I responded with the answer but I have not heard anything since. When should I reach out to her? Tmw will be one week since the interview. I don't want to seem pushy but I do want her to know I am still interested. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I'd wait until next week and then follow up and ask her if she has a timeline in mind for hiring for the position. She may have other interviews still to go, and even though it went well and she liked you she might not have made a decision yet. She may have also decided to hire you and has forwarded everything on to HR to finalize things, determine pay, and make the offer.

If you have another job offer you are considering, I'd email now (or as soon as you get the other offer) and let her know that you have another offer but would prefer to work in her unit.

Thank you! After the interview I had for the job I work at now it did not take long for an offer. So I do not have much to compare this to. Thanks again!
