How did you know that Peds were for you?
I've been working with kids for 12 years now. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and will be beinging an 11 month program to earn my Nursing Degree. I plan to go right into masters study. I just love children and watching them grow and learn. I feel that good health is the the foundation for the learning/growing/living part and I'd love to be a part of it. People I've talked to and who know me said they couldn't see me in anything but Peds or Ob/GYN.
How did you know?

I would love to work with kids...I think I was captivated when I did my peds rotation on the NICU, those little babies are so willing to live, it is admirable..I am going to an interview on Tuesday..I know they will ask me the main questions...why do you want to work with kids...all I know how to say well ..it is that I like kids...I find them to be stronger than adults and they are fighters, but at the same time they are tender and lovable..I really hope I get the job..

I'm thankful for people who have a passion for working with children, I just couldn't do it. I'll stick with old folks, it's just too heartbreaking to see sick little children who haven't had a chance to live yet.
