Hello everyone! I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I'm going to ask it again.
This is my situation--I'm in a two year RN program and will be graduating in May (hopefully). My problem is that I feel like I'm forgetting everything. All of my classes have been so fast and furious that I'm afraid I've just crammed things into my short term memory and those things won't be there when I need them (NCLEX). I've actually done really well on my tests and I am pretty good at answering the critically thinking type of questions we are asked, but I haven't actually read the required chapters. I've probably read 5 chapters in the past two years! Anyway, one of my instructors told us that like 65% of NCLEX questions will be over Med-Surg, so I decided I would try to read my Med-Surg book between now and graduation. I worked out a schedule for reading and I am now completely overwhelmed! (I know, I know. I should have read those chapters when they were assigned!) So, I guess this is my question. (Sorry I've taken so long to get to it. lol) If I buy Saunders NCLEX review book will it give me the info. I need? Or will it be too summerized? Should I go back to my original plan and read all those chapters? Any help or advise offered would be appreciated! Thanks!
BTW- I will be taking the Kaplan review twice before taking the NCLEX. I'm hoping this will also help me a lot. (It's required by my school and then my employer will also be offering it.)
