NCC is another very highly regarded entity which only deals in certification of nurses and practitioners in the Maternal-Child areas. (I have my certification in Intensive Care Neonatal Nursing and recommend them highly... very professional organization!). They have also got lots of continuing education items, etc. They have certifications for Inpatient Obstetrical Nurse and Fetal Monitoring as well as Breastfeeding among many others.
