Hi, im a sfsu student trying to apply for the nursing program next fall. I read many threads and many people are saying new nurses are hard to find jobs without experiences. So, I am wondering if I should expose myself early to the healthcare field by becoming a CNA or MA while working toward RN.
My questions are:
Is it worth to become a CNA or MA before RN?
Which one is better as an experience for RN? CNA or MA? ( i read other threads as well and saw many mixed reviews)
How is the CCSF CNA program?(because it only takes one semester)
Any recommendation besides SFSU nursing program?
Thank you very much in advance!!!!

Hey doodoo! Did you ever check out this cna program? I am considering getting my cna training/certification to dip my toes into the field and then see if I want to continue down the nursing path. But, nobody I know knows anything about this program either! I hope you are doing fabulously! Xoxo
