Hospital Experience

I am in Highschool and i was wondering where are some good places to get experience to help me later with my Nursing Major?

Hello again! You can volunteer or job shadow at your local hospital. I'm not sure where you are located, but you can look up your hospital's website, find the e-mail address for the volunteer coordinator, and then contact him/her asking about opportunities. You could also talk to your guidance counselor about any available opportunities. Once you turn 18, you may be able to take a CNA class over the summer. Some retirement homes will pay for you to take the class if you work for them, or you can pay for the class yourself at your local community college. They are usually around $500.
