Hi all. I've been trying to research asn-bsn programs and I'm not finding the info I need. I'm currently a nursing student in an asn program. I have a previous bachelors degree in liberal studies. How much course work is usually required to get your bsn in this situation (I mean to pursue it after passing nuclex). Some of the programs I looked at were 2 year programs which seems odd since those going strait bsn only have 2 years of the actual nursing curriculum after finishing freshman and sophomore year general coursework. Thanks for any help!

Sometime universities only offer certain classes in certain semesters, or require you to take classes in a certain order. This can slow down the process somewhat. It could be that your chosen school does this.
