Question everyone. Does anyone know if California has some sort of help for a homeless nurse. I know I definitely have it better then most. Getting divorce after 23 years. He left the home about 2 years ago. And guess who had to keep paying the bills alone (me). So I had to let all credit cards go to sell the house and split the profit 50/50. Anyhow house is sold. I have a lump sum in the bank but credit is now Sh!t. No one will rent to me. I’m sleeping on my granddaughter’s bottom bunk in a 2 bedroom condo. My only option at this point for housing is to quit my current position and become a travel nurse. I’ve worked though this whole pandemic. Even suffered from CIVID last December. There has to be some sort of help out there! Right?
