Hey Philly Nurses

Yesterday was my second shift at my new job; its an ICU new grad residency program at a small hospital in South Philly (not Methodist hospital). When I got onto the unit I found out that the company will be closing its doors for good at the end of July due to lease agreement issues between the company and building owner.

Nursing school, NCLEX, and landing this residency was such a long and challenging road, I can't help but feel absolutely defeated right now. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but if you have any job leads, or know of any recruiters/supervisors in the Philadelphia area that would be willing to look at my resume I would be so incredibly grateful. I have a second bachelor's degree in marine biology and have scientific research & corporate world work experience. Thank you for helping a baby nurse out - seriously.

Welcome Drewk331.......

WOW, what a shock that your facility is closing. Are you looking to work only in Philly, would you consider working in east Delaware County or Montgomery county areas? I will check with my contacts to see if any openings.
