]Hi Everyone,
I'm taking the HESI really soon as a final exit exam, I want to know if you could help me out! How did you do? Did you pass with an 850 or higher? What kinds of questions did the HESI have? Did you think they were difficult?
I'm very nervous, and have been making time to do questions from Saunders. I recently downloaded an APP on my iPhone for this so I can at least practice in bed and at work! Any kind of tips, suggestions, and heads up would really be appreciated... PLEASE let me know how you did. :uhoh21:

I understand the feelings you are having right now. I'm sure that you are at the end of your rope and all you want to do is sleep. My school had us do a paper based HESI because the people my school were going through were having a lot of issues. I can't remember what I got but I know it was in the upper numbers.
To me you sound like you've been doing the right things for studying. I mean there really is no way to study for that test which made me mad and scared for my final grade in class because I had a high B in the class and the fear of my grade dropping to a not passing grade because of this made me want to puke.
My school issued us that same saunders book. Now for me...opening that book stressed me out because really there is way more information in that book then what you really need to pass that test I will tell you that right now. If I were you, toss that book aside. But not before you remove that disc that came with it. Now that is all you really need. Go on that disc and do it on study mode that way when you get a question wrong it will tell you why. This will also help you get used to these kind of questions and what to look for when you go to take your NCLEX. I think you should also get one of those pearson books. I found that very helpful, even more so on the chapter on how to answer questions.
Something I learned, when you come across a question you don't know what the answer is a lot of times pick either C or the answer that is most wordy. I know it sounds weird but it works.
I hope that this helps you.

Hi there! Can you please tell me what App it is that you downloaded on your iphone? Also, how does your school do the HESI exit exam? do you have to pass the exit exam to pass the course?
Thanks

I got excited and posted something slightly irrelevant (about the HESI A2), but I don't know how to delete this comment.
Hi PN_wannabe,
The App I downloaded was for the iPhone 4 and it is called Saunders NCLEX-PN, PN Vol. 1. I believe there are 2 different volumes. I decided to purchase volume 1 first because it made sense to do this one first. It was $29, if I remember correctly. It was worth every buck. I work and go to school so pulling out that huge Saunder's book is tough.. So my phone does just the job too. Its got the rationales too! Hope this helps you...
But I'm taking the HESI this Friday.. OMG and I am SO NERVOUS! :uhoh21:
Hi adawnl,
I'm sorry, I wasn't sure if you wanted me to delete my post? Or if you were wondering how to delete your post? I think there should be an administrator on site that you could message/email?
[/url]Dear Glenna, LPN,
Thank you so much for your advice.. I'm so nervous and don't know what to expect. I'm just going to review all the stuff my classes taught me, and go over the Evolve review questions and PRAY that I'm smart enough to pass.. Sometimes its difficult because I don't feel like I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Again, Thank you so much for your insight. I hope I do fine this Friday too. :uhoh21:

I passed with a 927. Most of the questions I missed were ones that I knew the answer to but was so nervous and read them wrong. You will do great.:)
Thanks! I passed! Yay!! I'm so relieved... Now I can study for my finals and know for sure I am graduating!!
