Can anyone tell me where I can find information about this exam? How can you prepare to take? Any information is appreciated.

My advice is to order the Hesi study book and cd-rom, several people in my class who only studied NCLEX materials instead of the Hesi materials did not do very well.
Good Luck!:)

TOOK HESI IN MAY, GOT 99.99 PERCENTILE. BY ALL MEANS GET THE HESI REVIEW BOOK AND CDs STUDYING NCLEX REVIEW BOOKS WILL NOT HELP YOU. MY FRIEND HAS FAILED HESI 3 TIMES BECAUSE SHE JUST WON'T LISTEN. DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE HESI IS MORE KNOWLEDGE BASED VS NCLEX MORE APPLICATION. THE HESI BOOK HAS "HESI HINTS" IN THEM" LITTLE SHADED BOXES OF INFO, KNOW THEM WELL AND YOU WILL SUCCEED. BELEIVE ME HESI IS NOT LIKE ANY OTHER TEST YOU WILL TAKE. I BOUGHT THE HESI REVIEW BOOK WHILE IN THE NURSING PROGRAM AND IT WAS AMAZINGLY HELPFUL IN PASSING MY EXAMS I RECOMMEND PURCHASING THAT BOOK NOW AND USING IT ALONG WITH YOUR OTHER MATERIALS.
HOPE THIS HELPS
What is the exact name of the book and where can I purchase it? Can I find it on line?
The only place I could find to purchase the book and cd rom for Hesi, is on their website as posted above. It is a worthwhile investment if you have to take the test.
The name of the book is HESI NCLEX RN REVIEW

I took my exit HESI in Oct. of this year. I made a 99.99 on it. I also made a 99.99 on Peds HESI, psych, and med/surg, all without any help. I made a 94.97 on my OB HESI. I did study Psychiatric Nursing made incredibly easy d/t the large psych content on all of my HESI's. I have studied throughout nursing school with the NSNA nclex review 4th edition. It has been great, has a mini-review of each area. So, I say it really depends on you. If you are a good student with good grades, you probably don't need the HESI review if you do NCLEX style questions. Just do your best.
