:) just passed the Hesi A2. Am so happy thanks to everyone that posted on this site. I used the Elsiever "unofficial study guide" I sat and studied each sentence and wrote it out in my own words. So much info in that study guide. Memorize the Hesi hints. I bought the mcgraw 3 practice test and pocket prep. I used the free practice tests online. I ran into so much different info that I didn't know what was going to happen. The grammar was hard, the reading comprehension was okay. Just have to do that one first. The math was mostly conversions, ratios, and percent problems. I saw a bit of algebra. The small calculator sucked. I didn't like it. Check ahead to make sure what tests your school requires. Check ahead to see if there's a workshop available. These are what I "didn't do". My advisor didn't really tell me anything. So, if your freaking out about what to expect believe me you are not alone. Just learn all the vocab words, there are some good ones on quizlet but the main ones are on professorprep.com and uniontest.com. Know your conversion, and practice your grammar rules. Plus practicing ahead of time will make you feel less nervous when you get in there. You got this. Purposegames.com has a hesi game on there that I found helpful also.

For anyone starting to study for the HESI A2 check out Nurse Academy | Test Prep Videos for Nurses it is an awesome resource and so far everything is free! They seem to be just starting out, but are uploading free review videos all the time. So far, they have released a bunch of chemistry review videos and have just starting releasing HESI A2 math review videos also.
