Herzing University

Hello All Fellow Nurses,

I currently live in Central Florida. I have been looking at an option to obtain my RN degree online, rather than waiting 9 months to take it at one of the local 4 year colleges in my area. I was hoping to get a little information from anyone in living in Orlando who has/or is attending classes at Herzing University. The thing is is that I will need to acquire a loan and I want to make absolutely sure that it is well worth it. I don't need much inside information, I will be attending one of their information sessions on August 29th. I just want to know if the content that is taught within the program will make one successful in passing the NCLEX-RN with just one try (maximum 2). I already have the general education courses (if they accept the ones I have from a community college) so hopefully I can complete the program in 10 months rather than the 18 months it would take with General Education courses included. Hope someone can help with a few of my concerns. Thanks!!

Hello,

Did you end up attending classes at Herzing? If so did you like it.

No. I delayed my decision for about 5 months then finally enrolled with Excelsior College ( after deep consideration). I just couldn't bring myself to apply for the substantial loan amount that I would need to attend Herzing University.
