Doesn't the trem "nulligravid" refer to a woman who has never been pregnant? How could a nulligravid client be at 37 weeks gestation?

Nulliparous, maybe, but not nulligravid.

Am I right, or am I confused?

38: 3

39: 3

40: 1

41: 4

42: 2? (not sure on that one)

I took this question directly from my NCLEX review book. I understand it to mean that this is this woman's very first pregnancy. But you are right I think they did use the wrong term. Para means # of pregnancies that have progressed past 20 weeks at delivery, so I don't think that nulliparous wouldn't be the correct term either. The correct term should of been primigravida : a woman who is pregnant for the first time.
