HELP-telephone interview

HELP!!!! I have a telephone interview tomorrow and am now having a panic attack. What kind of questions do interviewers in Canada ask candidates? Has anyone ever had a telephone interview? Any tips?

All help gratefully received.

How did it go?

It was the HARDEST interview that I have ever done. I found that I really missed the face-to-face that you normally get in an interview. It was quite hard talking to the airwaves for over an hour-but it is over now. The worst part is still to come-the waiting to hear whether or not I was successful. Wish me luck!

Good luck...I am sure you are jumping everytime the phone rings! How long did they tell you that it would take to get back with you? I am going to start applying from the US in June and hopefully have something in Aug when I move back to Canada.

:balloons: Took a while to get the reply-had to wait for references. But I GOT THE JOB-I am so excited cannot wait to start.

Where in #Canada will you be looking for a job?

Congratulations!! Where is the job and what are you going to be doing? How much experience did you have in that area and do you already have your Canadian license?

Sorry for all of the questions but I am a step behind you. I am putting in an application today for a NICU position in Calgary. I have 8 months of newborn experience and have floated to the NICU on rare occasions. I have received my letter to test in Canada and am waiting to send my money for the temporary license until I find a job. I am moving back mid to late August unless something happens before that.

I have heard that Calgary Health Region takes a long time to get back to you (that is where I am applying). That is why I am applying so early.

Congratas again...where are you moving from?

Thank you Gail

Moving to Grande Prairie-working in medicine

I did things a little backward-sat the exam, got the job and now I will do the hours as a Grad nurse to become a Canadian RN.

I currently work in the UK as a Night Nurse Practitioner-covering med/surg/gyne/ortho-will miss it when I go
