:no:I need help! I am making drug cards for my clinical patient this week and can't find ANYTHING about Hydroxypropyl Metasone! I googled it and still nothing. Not a thing in my drug book either.

I think that is a misprint or something b/c I can't find that name anywhere either...what kind of drug is it supposed to be...what class?
Okay I just went on drugs.com and only looked up metasone. I got several answers there including alclometasone and desoximetasone. These are both topical corticosteroids. does this help?
Not sure of the class. Patient brought in with TIA and change in mental status. It is possible that I copied it down wrong, but I didn't think I would be that far off. Thank you anyway though.
Sorry I couldn't help more, but I actually meant that maybe what you copied down was wrong, not that you copied it wrong, lol! Dr's can write things wrong and it just keeps getting written that way...was there anything in the chart about pruitus? That's what the drugs I found were primarily for...
I'm going to need to look at her chart again tommorrow and find out what went wrong where.... Thank you for trying!!!! :)
So now I'm really curious, what was the drug?

I'm sorry to report that the next day the patient was transferred to another floor along with her chart. My instructor told me not to worry about the drug. I told her I was curious and she said there is no reason to bother the patients nurses for the chart on the new floor when it was probably due to a typo...:angryfire
