hi i took nclex last year and did not pass and i would like to take it again but the thing is my PRC license already expired and its still in process. my question is do i have to wait and submit my new prc license before taking the nclex or is it okay to take it even it is already expired?
and if i have my new prc license what are my next steps??do i have to forward it to the board of nursing?
thank you so much...
God Bless...

You need to send an application to the BON where you initially applied, if you were given approval to sit for the exam before, then ther should not be any issues now. There is nothing that states that you need to have a current license to test.
You will be paying the fee to the BON for licensure again, as well as the fee to Pearson-Vue.
Best of luck on your exam.
