When I took NCLEX, I didn't take a review course. I used Saunders book et CD and Mosby's online tests for the NCLEX. I passed the first time.
A friend of mine took the review class and failed NCLEX the first time she took it. Another friend failed 2 xs. He got ALL 265 questions every time. He passed on the 3rd attempt.
Good luck!!

I didn't take a review course either....I also used Saunders and the HESI.....I used the CD's and did a system a day for 2 weeks, took the weekend off and on Monday, passed NCLEX the first time.....if you average between 60-70% on the CD's, you will be just fine.....
Another good resource to use is the review notecards you can buy at any bookstore (they are on a large silver ring), they are convenient and helpful....
GOOD LUCK!!!! Remember, the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train....

why quit if you can take a month to 3 months break with or without pay then you can go back after the test. Best of luck looking for the best review center. I will likely to ask my school or PRC for accredited nursing review as most of the review centers in the philippines cater NCLEX
thanks for the replies guys!
just to add there is a thread in the Philippine forum regarding review centers, Can do on own as long as you make your own plan, also Suzanne one of the mods on here has done a plan which is free and can be found in the sticky titled new revised first tip
