help:slide sheets

hello,

i'm a first year nursing student and i have to preform a transfer from a bed to a chair using a slide sheet for a clinical practice.I've looked in my text books and its doesn't tell me.

can anyone please tell me the steps of doing this? thanks heaps

Most likely, if it's not covered in your textbook, your instructor will have to cover it.

Meantime, here's a website that actually sells slide sheets, and you can infer how they're used by looking at the pictures and reading the descriptions.

I did a search on "slide sheets patient transfers" via Yahoo search engine, but you might find more using Google.com or another search engine.
