Help on SFState Generic MSN Emphasis Choice

Hi there.

I am a student applying for Generic MSN at SFSU. I'm debating whether to pick Maternal/pediatric emphasis or Nursing Administration. Some background about myself is that I am a business management major with a BS, that is why I want to pick Nursing administration. But I have been volunteering at the maternity department at my local hospital for 2 years and also am an undergraduate researcher at the Child developement Lab at my university. That is why I am leaning towards Maternal/pediatric. Also which emphasis is more popular?

My ultimate goal is to become a family nurse practitioner after gaining my masters. I have called SFSU a long time ago and they said I can apply for FNP after the generic MSN. Can someone also confirm with me that I can apply to the FNP with any emphasis?

ANy help would Be great. Please please please provide me with more details about the two emphasis, I only know the basics.
