I took my CNA class and test in May of '08 in Minnesota. It is going to expire this May and I haven't been able to work as a CNA in the last two years. I was recently accepted to a nursing program and need to renew my CNA by the start of the nursing program which starts at the end of August. Am I able to retake my CNA test without having to take the class?? Anybody have any helpful ideas on how I could get by without having to retake the test. Please help!

Find out from MN's board of nursing what the requirements are for renewing your CNA certification. In many states, you need to work a few hours as a CNA in order to renew your license. Or, it may be possible that your CNA instructor could sign your renewal application for you. Good luck & congrats on getting into nursing school!!! :) :) :)
