Help regarding sick leave

Hey guys,

I am a new

rn and just started my first real job in medicine.

RN in the SICU - 4 months now.

very stresful!!!!!!

Sick yesterday and went to Doctor. Found out I have Shingles! weird. Now what? Any one know how long you have to be out with Shingles? It gives you appreciation for patients/family as they are annoying and painful.

Thanks,

Jillianna

I would say that either your doctor or you facilities infection control officials would be able to tell you ow long you would need to be out. Did the doctor give you a time off work form to give to your employer? If so, it shold specify on there the length.

Good luck!
