can you find out from the board of nursing in your state?

"Provisional status" is the status of the school, not you or your practice options when you finish school. It means your school is not in full compliance with your state's standards for nursing education. This can be anything from minor clerical document problems to major curriculum problems. You need to get in touch with your state board and get the details. This is generally public information accessible to anyone who requests it. You want to get the information from some source other than the school you are attending although you might also want to hear their side of the story.
Good luck! & congratulations!
Thanks guys i appreciate the feedback i will call the nursing board in FL and find out.

Sometimes the provisional issue lies in the fact it's a new program or they have recently added or changed their program in someway. Our program was on provisional status for a year when they added an extra 10 students to the LPN bridge program......so it was a very minor deal.
Good to find out though!!!!
So i found out that the provisional status for the RN program does not affect me in any way... i called the nursing board of FL and they cleared it up to me so thats a relief.
