Help! Paper topic?

I have to write a paper that focuses on a conflict between nurses and physicians, but the conflict must be an advanced practice problem.

Per the professor, "Also please be sure the conflict is an advanced practice problem. This can be a hypothetical issue, so please do not worry if you do not have a real life issue."

Per the assignment:

  1. Describe a situation in which there was a conflict between nurses and physicians or nurses and administration (use an advanced nursing practice situation).
  2. Write a paper on how application of the Twelve Skills Summary to the situation might have altered the outcome.

Help me with an idea. I'm struggling terribly!

    So, can you think of any situations or circumstances where a conflict can arise? You said it can be hypothetical, so use your imagination and experience to come up with something. Is there anything you have witnessed or heard about in your workplace? And what the heck is the 12 skills summary?

    If all else fails and you can come up with any thoughts or ideas...try googling conflict resolution, Nurse/Doctor....What area do you currently work in...use this to your advantage, observe the MDs. As a nurse have you never thought...."if I was the provider".....use this to come up with ideas for your topic.

    Look into evidence-based practice and see if there are any issues within those topics that peak your interest. Hope this helps good luck.
